thinking of the time that has gone by...
i think of you and me
and go to the beginning of our story.
you were just a new face then,
someone who i thought could be my friend.
i never thought that we would be
husband and wife, building a happy family.
funny how life and love works -
if not careful, you'd sure be hurt;
and just when you're about to give up,
fate gives you one last love-cup.
time indeed goes by so fast
but i know that we sure would last,
for everyday i love you more and more
and i still would, even if we'd have children of four.
